The art Department of the Central city library will host an evening in memory of the famous artist Viktor Synkov on October 17 at 15.00.

Viktor Ivanovich was engaged in monumental and easel painting, graphics, book illustration, small plastic art, etching. In the 1980s and 1990s, he worked not only in Naberezhnye Chelny, but also in Yelabuga. Viktor Synkov's work is philosophical and symbolic. Special attention should be paid to his illustrations of poems and prose of the Chelny poets and writers. The technique of Viktor Synkov's work can be traced in the works of many artists of Avtograd. He died in October 2000.

In tribute to the artist, the evening will bring together friends and admirers of his work. Valery Kosarev will present a collection of works given to him by the artist.
