The author shows the role of the children's colony, a correctional-educational institution in the physical and spiritual development of a teenager. However, the author, former head of the institution for juvenile offenders, summarizing his many years of experience in juvie, warns of the necessity of a prudent and consistent with legal norms of behavior, to avoid the fate of the hero of the book.
