On March 23, the Central City Library will host a meeting with Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, head of Kamaz construction, engineer Bilal Abdrakhmanovich Kaneev.

About some people they say: a walking encyclopedia. Bilyal Kaneyev can be called so with full right-not only because he knows a lot, but also because he was the initiator of the creation, the main author of the Encyclopedia of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. B. A. Kaneev-a well-known local historian, is a member of the board of the local history movement of the Lower Kama. Local history became his life's work. He also participated in the creation of the Tatar encyclopedic dictionary. His works became the basis of more than 370 articles published in the dictionary.

Now the honorary citizen of Avtograd, who celebrated his 80th birthday, is working on the second edition of this large-scale work. At the meeting, Bilal Abdrakhmanovich will share his memories about the peculiarities of the construction of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny and about his further creative work on local history.
