The event will open the artistic world of the writer to a wide readership.

Participants will share their impressions of the author's works, the modernity of Dostoevsky's work, the relevance of the ideas and beliefs embedded in his works, the problems and questions raised. The invited guests will be attracted by the reflection on the literary heritage of the psychologist pera to the ideological problems raised in his works.

The conversation will focus on topics that combine two opposing points of view - What is the main thing for the author in the novel "Crime and Punishment"? The theme of rebellion and the theme of the individualist hero, empathy and compassion: are they needed today? How to recognize good and evil? What can I do to help at least one destitute person?

Dostoevsky's psychologism: the novel "The Gambler"", on the example of the plot of which the motives of addictive behavior of a person, the psychological analysis of the mental state of the hero and his actions will be considered.
During the discussion, everyone will be able to express their opinion about what they read, present their own vision of the Dostoevsky phenomenon.
