On April 24, the library-branch No. 13 invites citizens to take part in the thematic evening "The Way to the Stars", dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the first human flight into space.

During the event, participants will plunge into the historical excursion of outer space, remember the great scientists-designers, engineers, the names of the famous cosmonauts of our country who conquered the orbit of space, the first launches of satellites with animals, the creation of an artificial satellite of the Earth. Readers of the library will get acquainted with the biography of the first cosmonaut, about his path to this difficult, serious profession and the first space flight. Guests will also find out what connects G. Naberezhnye Chelny with cosmonautics and how our fellow countryman Garif Saifiev from the village of Tlanche-Tamak in the Tukayevsky district was Yuri Gagarin's personal driver. The evening will be complemented by a demonstration of a film about the life of Yuri Gagarin with a chronicle of events related to the human flight into space, video materials, and reading poems about space.
