"Matryoshka fun"

At the very beginning of the year, on January third, it is customary to celebrate the Day of the Russian Nesting Doll. This unique detachable doll made of wood has become a real symbol of Russia all over the world.

The library invites you to an event dedicated to this holiday. First, the librarian will tell the children about the history of the appearance of matryoshka dolls in Russia, the features of painting, and what kind of dolls there are. Then the children will listen to poems and songs, remember Russian nursery rhymes, ditties, counting books and teasers about dolls.

In the second part of the event, children will be able to participate in Matryoshka contests: "Guess the riddle", "Funny kerchief", "Collect a matryoshka doll".
