Reading holiday "Book Parade" (for the International Children's Book Day)

Every year, on April 2, the birthday of the great Danish storyteller Hans Christian Andersen, the International Children's Book Day is celebrated. In honor of this wonderful day, librarians of the Arsky district Children's Library held a festive event "Book Parade" for children of Arsky kindergarten No.2. The children learned about the childhood of the great storyteller, remembered his famous fairy tales, guessed riddles from them, listened to an excerpt from the work of G.H. Andersen "Ole Lukoye".

The birthday of a children's book is a special holiday. Miracles happen on this day... and even the heroes of fairy tales come to life… So today, the real Ole Lukoye came to meet the guys, who told them why he carries two umbrellas with him, played interesting games with the kids, sang and danced with them. The book festival was a great success!
