"Inventors – truth seekers" (quiz game for the Day of Russian Science)

This holiday concerns people of different professions who have connected their lives with research and science. And also, this year, we celebrate the 300th anniversary of the founding of the Russian Academy of Sciences. As part of these significant events and the Year of Scientific and Technological Development in the Republic of Tatarstan, according to the Pushkin Map project, an entertaining quiz game “Inventors - Truth Seekers” was held for 8th grade students of the Arsky Gymnasium No. 5, which is dedicated to great inventions, discoveries and their authors from around the world. After all, all discoveries were made in the name of science! The expert teams, together with the Professor, went through a real brainstorming session, where they showed knowledge in different categories: “Great discoveries”, “At the origins of science”, “Towards progress”, “From a fairy tale to reality”, “Filword”, “Questions to fill in for team captains”. We hope that during the game the guys learned a lot of interesting and useful things and made new discoveries for themselves to expand their general horizons. Friends, science does not ask for bread, but gives itself! Learn, read, develop!
