"I want to know everything!" (for the World Children's Invention Day)

The year 2024 has been declared the Year of Scientific and Technological Development in the Republic of Tatarstan. As part of the opening of this year, as well as for the World Children's Invention Day, an educational event "I want to know everything" was held for students of the 5th grade of ASOS No. 1, drawing attention to the importance and significance of discoveries made by children. Children's Invention Day is celebrated annually in the middle of winter, on January 17th. Child inventors are not a trend of the 21st century, as many may assume, they have always been. Many children around the world have the opportunity every day and hourly, sometimes even without realizing it, to invent things necessary for humanity in the future. Do you know what unites jet skis, fur headphones, swimming fins and Braille? Yes, all these obvious objects today were invented by children.

At the event, the children learned about the most famous young talents who have made a significant contribution to the development of Russian and world science, about inventions in their original form. 

We got acquainted with the history of inventions of some of the objects that we use. They were interested to find out who created plasticine, fruit ice, invented fur headphones, a remedy for hiccups, a trampoline, designed a bicycle, a snowmobile. The children took an active part in a fun game, tried themselves as little scientists, making plasticine with their own hands.
The event turned out to be interesting and exciting. The guys realized how great it is to be scientists and make discoveries!
