"Vera Chaplina's favorite pets"
Today, students of the 1st "A" class of the Arsk gymnasium No. 5 visited us. An exciting tour of the Arskaya District Children's Library and a literary hour "Vera Chaplina's Favorite Pets" were organized for children.
The event is timed to the 115th anniversary of the birth of Vera Vasilyevna Chaplina (1908-1994), a world-famous Russian children's animal writer, whose life and work were directly connected with the Moscow Zoo, with the care of animals. The children learned about the life and work of the writer, about her most beloved and famous pets, listened to an instructive story, and at the end of the event watched a kind cartoon shot according to the script by V. Chaplina.
