“Funny animals in the books of V.V. Chaplina”(115 years since the birth of the Russian writer Vera Vasilyevna Chaplina (1908-1994)

On April 28, the event “Funny animals in the books of V.V. Chaplina” was held in the Arskaya district Children's library for students of the 1st “G” class of ASOSH No. 6. The children learned a lot about the life and work of the writer, listened with special interest to the story “Fly”, thanks to which they were able to answer all questions. At the end of the event, they watched an instructive cartoon “Forest Travelers”, shot according to the script by Vera Chaplina and Georgy Skrebitsky.
The work of the famous children's writer Vera Chaplina is dedicated to the animal world, with which not only her books are connected, but also her entire life path. For many years, the writer has worked at the Moscow Zoo, so she knows firsthand about the habits and behavior of each of our younger brothers. The author's bibliography contains more than a dozen fascinating books that have been loved by several generations of children and their parents.
