"Eternal profession - library" (hour of interesting information)

On October 21, the staff of the Arsky district Children's Library held an hour of interesting information "Eternal profession – library". Students of grades 1"B" and 4 "B" of ASOS No. 1 were invited to this event. Librarians presented their favorite profession, told about the most interesting moments. Young readers listened with great curiosity about this important and respected profession. We learned how a librarian tries on several specialties during one working day: screenwriter, actor, psychologist, teacher, designer, bibliographer, graphic designer, documentarian, blogger ... The guys got acquainted with the fund and its arrangement, catalogs and card files and saw how new books are processed in the department of acquisition and processing of literature. We all know that a library today is not just a repository of books, but also a cultural and information center, and the profession of a librarian provides great opportunities for creative, energetic, talented and creative people.
