"Chamomile happiness"

On July 8, the All-Russian Day of Family, Love and Fidelity is celebrated. The holiday appeared thanks to the Murom Prince Peter and his wife Fevronia, who lived in the XIII century. This married couple is revered by Orthodox Christians as patrons of family and marriage. Peter and Fevronia became models of marital fidelity, mutual love and family happiness during their lifetime. According to legend, they died on the same day — July 8, 1228. On this day, events are held aimed at preserving and popularizing family cultural values. And today our readers got acquainted with the traditions and rituals, with the symbol of the holiday – the daisy, which has been a sign of love since ancient times. Young visitors were invited to draw drawings on the theme "My family". Everyone will have a fascinating acquaintance with the book and illustrative exhibition, where books about the role of the family, about the upbringing of children, etc. are presented.
