"Work for hands – a holiday for the heart" (opening of the Year of Folk Art and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Russia)

On January 28, in the Arskaya district Children's Library for children of the 3rd grade of ASOS No. 1, an event "Work for hands – a holiday for the heart" was organized, dedicated to the opening of the Year of Folk Art and Intangible Cultural Heritage of Russia. At the event, the children learned about national traditions, customs, folk crafts, played the Tatar folk game "Castle". The head of the district children's library - Rakhimbayeva Alsu Garifzyanovna told the students about the art of leather mosaic, about sewing and embroidery of Tatar national headdresses - kalfaks and skullcaps, which have become widespread in our region. Also, a meeting was organized for children with the teacher of the Arsky Palace of Schoolchildren - Liliya Mansurovna Khakimova, who is a master of embroidery and creates wonderful paintings.
