January 27 is the International Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Holocaust. A day when the entire civilized world bows its head in mournful remembrance of the victims of the Nazis. This date was not chosen by chance – on this day, the Soviet troops released the prisoners of one of the most terrible concentration camps of the Second World War – Auschwitz. In honor of this date, in the District Children's Library for students of the 7th "B" class of ASOSH No. 1, an hour of memory "The Holocaust-remember not to repeat" was held. At the end of the event, all those present honored the victims of the Holocaust with a minute of silence.
