"Library, book, I – together loyal friends".

This week the Regional children's library hospitably opened doors to children of kindergarten No. 2 "Swallow". Children visited our library for the first time. The children listened to the librarians with great interest and fascinating views. They introduced children to the range of books, magazines, talked about the proper handling of books. The children also got acquainted with the rules of using library books: how to enroll in the library, how to choose books and how to behave on a subscription and in the reading room. The children learned that the library is a HOUSE of books and were very happy to see how many books live in the library. They had great delight, and some with bated breath, looked at a lot of books in beautiful bindings decorated in wonderful shelving. Children have never seen so many books.

The excursion made a great impression on the preschool children. The children did not want to leave the library, and they promised to come to the library with their parents. Children will look forward to becoming regular readers of the District Children's Library!
